Welcome to our Online Prayer Meeting!
We're gathering online as a church family to consider and pray through the last 12 months, about how God has led and guided us as a new fellowship of believers.
This is our lockdown prayer breakfast: 13 months on from the new beginnings at Ebenezer. We prayed for revival, we prayed for encouragement and we prayed that God would be in all that we did.
If God isn’t in everything we do then we will not grow, revive as individuals or as church; so this prayer time is to recall how God has been with us on that journey, to praise and thank Him and to ask that He continues to be at the forefront of everything we do as individuals and as the church fellowship at Ebenezer.
If you’re joining us live for this prayer meeting you can join our Zoom meeting by using the info or link below.
You let people ride over our heads;
we went through fire and water,
but you brought us to a place of abundance.
Introduction
From the dry place to one of abundance; we are on our way, our army is growing.
We aren’t there yet and truthfully we never will be as we continually look to the Lord for new growth, people saved, baptised, filled with His Spirit, growing into their gifts, praising God, reading His word, worshipping and evangelising.
At the start of our prayer breakfasts we considered a picture of a desert and one of a glass of water overflowing; we wanted to move from a dry place to being blessed abundantly by God. We are not overflowing yet, but moving towards that goal: don’t be complacent because we have new families, this is just the beginning.
Me & God
Section One
Reflect
Listen to the song below and think about if God is in everything that you do.
Watch the video below and think about these questions.
- How has the last 12 months impacted you as:
- a person,
- a Christian and
- a member of this fellowship?
- What are your hopes, joys and hurts as we travel this journey together?
- Is God in everything you do?
Maybe consider things from God’s perspective.

Section Two
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 9:37-38
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Mark 16:15
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 4:35
15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
Reflect on how available you are to spread the Good News of Jesus.

Praise
Section Three
“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”
Reflect
So now just spend time praising Him for the growth, for the future, for who He is. Creator, Glorious, Beautiful, Loving, Conqueror, All powerful Saviour. Thank Him for your salvation from before time began. Thank Him because He deserves it.
